Yesterday we made a scarecrow for the front yard. I love how he came out. What do you think?
Wow. There isn’t enough time in the day to do everything I want to do. I have fallen off the wagon in regards to my blog posts. Started a part time job too. It’s going to be a challenge to balance everything. Hoping to have another project to post soon. Thanks for your patience 🙂
My 3 1/2 year old granddaughter, Kinsley and I made Halloween pumpkins out of styrofoam. We had so much fun. Here are the results:
When will I ever learn. One thing about me is that I can’t put deadlines on myself. This Pinterest Challenge isn’t going to work. The minute I consider something a ‘have to’ it takes all the fun out of it for me. Today, I’m going to try doing one of my Pinterest pins. If it works great! If not, tomorrow is another day.
These are the cupcakes I made today. I used a cream filling recipe posted by Wilton.com and a ganache recipe I found on Pinterest but can’t for the life of me find it again. I’ll keep looking though.
Okay. This was a little more challenging then I thought it would be and it’s only day 1.
I’m off to a bit of a slow start with my Pinterest Challenge. After babysitting my granddaughters all day I still hadn’t tackled one of my pins. What to do?
I decided to put dividers in one of the drawers to my new kitchen island for silverware. I got the idea from tamicurbalert.blogspot.com. I will be painting them but until then I will consider this a semi finished project. I guess that’s cheating a little but I’m so tired. The idea of whipping out a can a paint is just to much.
Dear Santa, I really want a nice camera for Christmas!
Since I began this blog I have been challenging myself to do some of the things I have posted to my boards in Pinterest. This morning I’m thinking of kicking that challenge into overdrive.
I am going to attempt to do something from Pinterest daily for the next month starting today. It could be something simple like a recipe or a craft or something more difficult DIY project that takes a few days (or more) but I have to do something everyday. Is working on a project enough though? Hmmm. No. I have to start and finish something each day.
Ready, set, go!
